Welcome to
the Productivity
Factory!

I'm pretty obsessed with productivity, I always try to optimize my habits and do as much as possible throughout my day. After trying some tips and hacks, I found these four to be the best of all time:

  • Systems
  • Daily Highlight
  • Consuming content at 2x Speed
  • Enjoy The Process

Systems

You have most certainly set many goals and probably never bothered to achieve them. Goals can seem too far from reach. James Clear talks a lot about systems in his book "Atomic Habits". The systems are the process, the things that we do, the habits that we acquire in order to achieve a goal. Focusing on systems rather than goals is life-changing, systems are the answer of the question "what can I do now to achieve my goal". For example, if you have the goal of having six pack abs, then the system would be , control your eating habits and go to the gym regularly.

Daily Highlight

The daily highlight is what you consider as the most important thing you can do in a day. Let's say you woke up today, stayed in bed scrolling through Instagram or watching Youtube videos, but then you remember that you have eight things to do. That'll just make you anxious about being unproductive while you keep procrastinating because, you know.. eight things are a lot!
So instead, you choose the most important thing that you have to do and do it knowing that you don't have to do anything else after it if you don't feel like it. This hack is so powerful because if, for every single day of the year we could do the most important thing that day then it would definietly be
life-changing.

Consuming content at 2x Speed

The reason I prefer audiobooks rather than books or e-books is because I'm a really slow reader, and since all I read is self-improvement books then I have to stay focused on every sentence, so I can get the most amount of value possible out of it. If the audiobook is eight hours long then I would spend at least nine hours reading the book. So, instead I listen to the audiobook at 2x speed, finish it in four hours and get the most possible amount of value out of it. This is my best productivity tip for time saving.

Enjoy The Process

Well, this is a pretty obvious one but probably the most important of all time, If you genuinely enjoy whatever your task is about, then you would do it with no questions, you don't need motivation to get up and get the job done and you don't have to worry about distractions. If you already enjoy doing your task then you won't need the help of any of the three tips stated above.

Thank you for reading, today's post was inpired by Ali Abdaal's video "The Best Productivity Hacks Of All Time" The one I chose were the ones he ranked as life-changing because after trying them I can say that they really are.
